November 26th 2008:

Updated the layout and appearance of the website so it will be more in-line 'art-wise' with the upcoming album: 'Garden Of Eden'.
Also added some extra projects to the 'Side Projects' section.

Going through all the webs pages I found that the first recordings for the IXION albums started on November 17th 2000! Has it been that long...?

October 12 / 19 2008:

October 4th 2008:

Martijn and I have finally managed to find a date and a recording location. We go out on a crusade to record the Grand Piano for this album. Read the update on the 'Recording Garden Of Eden' page.

February 3rd 2008:

I have decided on the title for the third album: 

Garden Of Eden

The title reflects the fact that the main character is trying to turn the world in a save and better place. Creating some sort of a Paradise for the human race. Which in the end doesn't work out.

The rest is not really big news, just to let you know the album is still under construction. 
Next up on the recording schema are Linde Faber on Cello (within a couple of weeks), Martijn Bos on Grand Piano (to be planned), and Gerton Leijdekker is currently busy in his own studio recording the guitar tracks for the album. I expect the first trackswithin in next couple of weeks.

October 14th 2007:

Today I received Eveline van Kampen's guitar solo for the 5th song on this album. Eveline is the guitarist for the progressive rock band Illumion. Check out the 'Recording The Third album' page to read about it.

June 8th 2007:

Time to work on some vocals with Ulysses' singer Michael Hos. He participated on Talisman and agreed to take up the role of the main character on this album. Check out the 'Recording The Third album' page to read about it.

May 26th 2007:

It is guitar player time. This day Ulysses' guitar player Sylvester Vogelenzang-de Jong steps into the lime light to play two guitar solos as a guest performer on this Ixion album. Check out the 'Recording The Third album' page to read about it.

May 6th 2007:

KnightArea's' main keyboard player and composer, Gerben Klazinga, played synthesizer solos for 4 of the new songs for this album. Check out the 'Recording The Third album' page to read about it.

April 30th 2007:

I just got my new tube microphone back from Rob 'Machinator' Spigt, and again he surpassed my expectations with his modifications. The improvements are enormous!

April 7th 2007:

I have all my equipment back was able to do some A/B comparisons with older tracks I recorded. The improvements are enormous! If there is anyone out there with a TL-Audio from the first Ivory series or a M-Audio Delta 1010, you now know who to contact!.

March 24th 2007:
